Teddy Bear picnic anyone?? Alison brought all the props along in hopes that it would keep her toddler engaged in the session. It definitely worked! By having the props and letting her son lead the session, we got some super cute images!

Some families become more than clients. I’ve been photographing this crew since they got married in 2017, and every year I look forward to seeing them again. We catch up on life, laugh our way through the session, and somehow the kids come back with even bigger personalities than the year before. Watching this family grow has been one of the greatest gifts this job has given me. It’s relationships like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Robyn and Charlee come every year for some mom & me portraits and every year Charlee is more confident and more fun! I love the action shots with these two. You can really tell in each image there is a lot of love here and in the future when they look back on these photos, they will feel it.

We do mom and me pics every year and this was the first year that her youngest actually smiled without his parents having to work their butts off. So much can change in a year! These cuties rocked their session and mom has some adorable pics to hang on her wall!

Welcomed this adorable little gal with a newborn session. She was so sweet, all curled up in her sleeper and slept the entire time, which made the session a breeze!

These are the kinds of memories you'll never regret holding onto. I am so grateful that Kira and her girls, plus her mom, come and see me every year. Mom's aren't always in the photos because we're usually the ones taking them! These sessions ensure that mom is in the photos and by coming every year to do them, its a tradition and a memory her girls will keep for forever.

I couldn't wait to share the images from Claire's grad day. We originally weren't going to do any photos on the actual day, however she was ready early so we took about 30 minutes and snapped some pics. I am so glad we did. It really captured how happy she was and how good she felt in her dress. She is glowing and smiley in each image and it does a mama's heart good to see that happiness. I am ashamed to say that Abi is my cousin's daughter and we never actually met until this day. We do however have a mutual friend and she has told me how much she adores Abi, and I can totally see why. We met at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens for her session andI loved Abi's dress! Photo sessions with toddlers is always an adventure. It's hard work for the parents but the play and letting them just be them is really worth the time it takes to get some adorable images!
