Shields-Hall Maternity Session | Lethbridge Maternity Photography
I can't stop thinking about this maternity session with the Shields-Hall family. From the moment we started, everything just came together. Hollii borrowed five dresses from my client maternity closet, and somehow each one suited her perfectly. Every outfit brought a different feel to the session, giving us so much variety while keeping the focus on this exciting season of waiting for their newest little one. We headed out early, before the summer heat settled in, and it turn

Elemans Family | Lethbridge Family Photography
There are some families who feel less like clients and more like familiar faces you genuinely look forward to seeing each year, and this family is one of them. I’ve had the privilege of photographing them since they were expecting their very first baby, and it’s been such a joy to watch their family grow. From those early days of wondering what life with a little one would be like to now chasing after two wonderful kids, it’s been an honour to document these chapters along th

These two have waited for this little baby for so long, and I am so glad I could capture this time for them. I am not sure there is going to be a more loved little guy!

Charlie's 2nd Birthday | Lethbridge Family Photography
Sweet little Charlie!! We got all the expressions during this session. He definitely loves his mama and playing trains with dad. There's no planned photos for a session like this. It's all child led. Bring favourite toys and bring snacks and we are guaranteed to get some really adorable photos that will memorialize this time.

Sutton's Cake Smash
This sweet lil bug is one!! She was so good for her cake smash and actually destroyed this cute little cake from Edible Elegance, which is exactly what we want!

Izzy Kindergarten Grad
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but these pictures are way better than what you'd get with Lifetouch. Reasons why they're better: You get more time (20 minutes), kids are more relaxed (Izzy needed to run a bit and that helped her listen better and be more comfortable), and because of that I can capture their personalities to much better.

Not everyone likes to have their photo taken. I find that taking the person away from all the excited family usually helps with the situation. In this case that was what was needed. Graduation day is already exciting and over stimulating and taking a few minutes away is needed, even if it is with a weirdo photographer who's taking your pic.

Alexis & Sydney | Lethbridge Grad Photography
While photographing these twins for their high school graduation, I learned the sweetest reason for the color of their dresses. Their mom used to dress one twin in pink and the other in purple. As they got older, that stopped but when the girls were chatting with their mom about the colors they wanted, they told her that they wanted to do pink and purple as a shout out to her and their childhood. If that isn't the sweetest thing ever!! I am in love with every image from this

Graduation isn't about fitting into someone else's idea of what a grad session should look like. It's about capturing who you are, right now. Whether that means your first truck, a burnout on an empty road, your favourite cap, your school or the suit you've been looking forward to wearing, those are the things that make these photos yours. Years from now, I don't want you to remember a perfectly posed portrait. I want you to remember this version of yourself. That's what we'r
